About this role
What You’ll Do:
- Support a wide range of interior design projects, working closely with our experienced team.
- Assist designers in creating, planning, and managing interior design projects.
- Contribute to the development of design solutions that meet client needs and uphold BSA’s high standards of quality.
- Prepare construction documents and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established design standards and governing agency requirements.
- Document and organize design materials, maintaining the interior’s library and control books.
- Collaborate on design concepts, focusing on aesthetics, functionality, and client specifications.
- Participate in project design meetings, gaining insight into multi-disciplinary teamwork.
- Attend client meetings and visit construction sites to gain exposure to the full project lifecycle.
- Conduct research that directly influences design decisions.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned to support the interior design team.
Education and Experience:
- Educational Background: Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, acknowledged by CIDA.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, 3D CAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and other graphic software.
- Office Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office Suite.
