About this role

You will be at the forefront of BRP’s Service Strategy  team, focusing on the troubleshooting and diagnostic of our products, and act as a key link between New Product Development teams and the Global Services organization. You are interested in working closely with multidisciplinary teams to determine and maintain  the optimal troubleshooting strategies for our vehicles. Participate in the development of new technologies. YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO

  • Responsible for the sustainability of advanced service diagnostic & troubleshooting documentation  (Post launch)

    • Identify line-up changes

    • Gather network feedback from product coordinator

  • Update initial troubleshooting content with feedback from the network

  • Collaborate with engineering and diagnostic software teams to develop functions for troubleshooting new technologies in the network

  • Support NPD service project leads for creation and validation of diagnostic and troubleshooting content

  • Create  content to help the service stakeholders prepare for the launch of upcoming technologies

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Be passionate about finding and correcting electrical problems in high technologies situation

  • Technical college diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience in serviceability or troubleshooting

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in diagnostics/electrical problem solving or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of product field repair

  • Read and understand wiring diagrams

  • Knowledge in the use of diagnostic tools and software : multimeter, OBD2 scanner

  • Good knowledge of vehicle technologies (automotive, powersport or off-highway), through professional or meaningful personal experience

  • Strong connection with BRP products and values

  • Demonstrate good judgment in identifying risks and escalating issues when required

  • Proactivity, positive attitude and forward thinking. Adaptable and fast learner
