PRINICIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
-Provide leadership for process control in the process.
-Problem resolution with supplier and customers
-Support the corrective action system (internal and external)
-Provide technical support to MfG Eng and MFg regarding quality of product and his function within the design
-Quality gage requirement for processes
-Provide leadership to QC engineers and technicians
-Works closely with engineering and manufacturing in capacity studies, gage R&R and DOE
-Any other dutries or responabilities as assigned by department supervisor
-Performs activities related to safety
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIERED:
-Education: Drgree in Mechanical, Electrical or Indutrial Engineer
-80% Bilingual
-Knowledge of ISO9000
-Geometric Tolerances and blue pirnt reading
-Computer literate on Microsoft
-Problem solving tecniques
-PFMEA, DOE, QFD, PPAP, APQP
-Good analytical skills
-Experience in Quality Control
-Good judgment
Strong leadership
-Good communications skills

What you'll do
- The Quality Engineer will provide leadership for process control and problem resolution with suppliers and customers. They will also support the corrective action system and provide technical support regarding product quality.
