About this role

As a member of BRP’s Acoustics and Vibrations development team, you will report to the Engineering Manager of Acoustics and Vibrations. You will be responsible for planning and executing NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) development activities. You will join a dynamic, passionate, and highly skilled team recognized for its expertise in acoustics and vibrations.

 

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

 

  • Preparing vibroacoustic FEA simulation models for systems and full vehicles.

  • Performing modal analyses, forced response studies, and acoustic radiation simulations.

  • Analyzing simulation results and translating them into technical recommendations to meet NVH performance targets.

  • You will influence the design of various mechanical components and systems in our recreational vehicles by proposing optimal solutions that balance NVH objectives, cost, performance, and overall vehicle functionality.

  • You will work closely with project teams, including product engineering, purchasing, suppliers, calibration teams, and the Rotax group.

 

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

 

  • University degree in acoustics and vibrations, mechanical engineering, physics, or a related technical field. A graduate degree or relevant professional experience in acoustics and vibrations is an asset.

  • Solid understanding of acoustics, vibrations, and frequency analysis principles.

  • Proficiency with tools such as Simcenter 3D, Nastran, Altair Suite, Matlab, GT Suite, or equivalent NVH software.

  • Knowledge of internal combustion or electric powertrains and drivetrain systems.

  • Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written, is required.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, initiative, and ability to influence.
