About this role

Do you like trade compliance processes and technologies? We are looking for a Global trade subject matter expert to join our team.  Reporting to the manager responsible for process and project strategy you will contribute to the transformation and integration of various manufacturing and distribution operations management systems. In this role, you will have a major impact on strategic and tactical initiatives in support of our global operations.

 

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Develop your leadership and knowledge of processes and systems directly related to trade compliance operations

  • Work in concert with all the sectors of international operations of the company, and, with the development and distribution teams of the products

  • Make a difference with our customers and suppliers by improving our process automation related to commercial exchanges in support of import and export activities for parts and finished products

YOUR MAIN DUTIES:

  • Contribute to the integration of business processes for the optimization of trade compliance processes

  • Work closely in a multidisciplinary team and in relation with several international stakeholders

  • Define and implement different business processes

  • Document the scenarios of process application variants as well as the tests necessary to validate them

  • Execute end-to-end validation of processes and variants from source systems

  • Support and document the standard operating procedures necessary for the execution of business processes

  • Identify and support the resolution of process execution and testing issues (process and data)

  • Collaborate in the transfer of knowledge of new processes to user communities

  • Work with stakeholders affected by data issues and collaborate with transformation change management teams to align adjustments to be made

 

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • University degree in a subject directly related to information technology or international customs operations

  • Knowledge of SAP, SAP GTS, or other equivalent ERP technologies an important asset

  • Analytical and synthetic skills

  • Rapid adaptability to diverse context and situations

  • Ability to provide optimization solutions

  • Very good interpersonal and teamwork skills, leadership, curiosity and a good sense of organization

  • Ability to put oneself in the position of stakeholders

  • Ability to work effectively based on objectives and with minimal supervision

  • Bilingualism essential both oral and written (French and English)

  • Experience in an environment related to manufacturing operations an asset
