We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for the development of accessories directly reporting to the accessory project manager SSV. You will be able to make a difference by being directly linked to the success of the company through innovation and the continuous improvement of our accessories offer.

YOU‘LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Develop accessories for our current and future vehicles.

• Evolve projects from initial concepts to production;

• Influence the vision that guides the integration of accessories on new platforms to come;

• Collaborate with design, marketing, purchasing, quality assurance, vehicle group, and suppliers in the various stages of the product development process;

• Participate in the establishment of performance criteria, establish validation plans for each accessory and ensure their execution;

• Test prototypes in real conditions of use (in Canada and the USA)

• Conduct studies, analyses and calculations in order to guide, using general and specific technical parameters, design technicians and project developers in their work.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant equivalent

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (the person will be required to communicate with suppliers and other collaborators outside the country)

• Knowledge of design software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent)

• Implementation of predictive calculation tools

• Recognized tenacity and efficiency in project management

• Excellent collaborator and outstanding team player
