About this role

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team, reporting to the Manager of eCommerce & Analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to uncover trends and opportunities that support strategic decision-making across our eCommerce business. You will play a key role in advancing initiatives that fuel our Digital Retail D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) and Omnichannel Experience strategy. In addition to building and optimizing ad hoc reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights to stakeholders, you will collaborate closely with the Merchandising team to develop tools and analyses that enhance sales forecasting, promotional strategies, and inventory optimization.

 

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

 

  • Contribute to eCommerce strategies by leveraging data-driven insights to improve processes and business decisions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business needs and translate them into actionable data requirements and reporting solutions.

  • Design and optimize data models and interactive dashboards using MS Power BI, applying best practices for visualization, usability, and performance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and recommending solutions that enhance business outcomes.

  • Partner with Merchandising to build and maintain dynamic sales forecasting tools and dashboards that support sales planning, promotional strategies, and inventory optimization.

  • Deliver ad hoc analyses and customer insights that inform product assortment, pricing, and marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with customer behaviors and preferences.

  • Continuously improve data collection, reporting processes, and analytical frameworks to strengthen business intelligence capabilities across teams.
     

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

 

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in an eCommerce or Retail environment.

  • Proficiency with MS Power BI, DAX Studio, Tabular Editor and Snowflake; BigQuery is considered an asset

  • Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data across platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery)

  • Passion for data, analytics, and transforming insights into impactful business actions.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including executives.

  • A proactive, innovative mindset focused on continuous improvement and user experience.

  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Office 365, Google Suite, and Knime (considered an asset).
