About this role
- Position will perform Surveys as assigned
- Party Chief will provide basic job training and guidance
- Position includes client-facing duties. Professional representation of the company (physical and in performance) is required.
- Will provide communication(s) to personnel. Ability to communicate effectively.
- Will operate total station, data collection devices and software (Total Station, Level GPS, Instruments
- Day-to-day work may be strenuous
- Work could include exposure to conditions that present danger to life/health or cause injury
- Hazards could include: exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical shock, working on scaffolding (excessive heights), exposure to burns/radiant energy, exposure to explosives, toxic chemicals or plants which can cause allergic reactions.
- Party Chief will perform with Safety as Priority One, and represent company in professional manner
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. (minimum)
- (3+) years' experience as Party Chief
- Experience with Total Station, Level GPS (RTK and Static) and Instruments
- Experience utilizing survey equipment, field notes and feature codes, calculations and sketching
- Experience in Topographic, Industrial Construction Layout Surveys and Boundaries (required)
- Position requires travel for projects and weekend work as needed.
- Position may require work out of area for extended periods depending on project needs.
- Active TWIC and general industrial safety training
