Project Coordinator

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum (3) years’ experience in Engineering and/or Construction Coordination role
  • Experience working in a Petrochemical facility or Refinery
  • Proficient utilizing MS Office Suite
  • Physically able to conduct field trips for review of project materials, equipment and engagement with field personnel
  • Ability to lift and carry up to (25) lbs.
  • Work schedules may include extended work hours
  • Weekend work schedules may be included

 

Responsibilities/Essential Duties

  • Coordinates project activities
  • Schedules project review meetings, bid review meetings and HSE training sessions
  • Issues action items from project review meetings and track for completion
  • Prepares and distributes project documentation such as: reports, drawing registers, materials/procurement status, project evaluation notes
  • Organize and maintain project database information
  • Engages with Project Controls for review of manhours, project deliverable(s) status
  • Interact with Project Managers, Project Engineers and other project stakeholders
  • As assigned, serve as liaison with client
  • Participate in Management of Change (MOC) processes
  • Perform audit of project team safety training requirements
  • Actively engages in safety culture and onsite safety guidelines
