Job Description

Your Team

Brookfield Residential’s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of our projects and operations. This internship program is open to highly motivated and driven students who are eager to explore the development and residential real estate industry, gain practical experience, and make meaningful contributions to our team. The Summer Internship Program will begin on May 25, 2026 and conclude on August 14, 2026.

Team Overview

This opportunity will primarily work with the Dallas, Texas Brookfield Land teams, with exposure in residential land acquisitions, and land development operations and will have additional exposure to the following areas within the business:

  • Construction Management
  • Finance / Accounting
  • Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience
  • Community Management and Homeowner Associations

Must Haves

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in a related field (e.g., Real Estate, Construction Management, Business, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly proactive candidate who independently seeks out solution.   
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • A keen interest in real estate and development.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a strong team player.
  • A positive and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.
  • Must possess reliable transportation.
