Service & Breakdown Engineer

Please see the <a href="https://s3uploadpresignedurlapista-apiuploadbucket5bf65193-ng6pinf04mjp.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/9f157e44-3158-4562-9df2-9bb9ed2c8ff3.pdf">job description</a> for more details.</p><p><strong>Locations: Multiple opportunities across East Anglia, working 40 hrs per week, Monday-Friday</strong><br></p><h4><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h4><ul><li><strong></strong>Maintain and repair heating systems across a range of fuel types, including domestic gas, oil, and solid fuel, for domestic and social housing properties.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including Gas Safe and OFTEC standards.</li><li>Carry out reactive repairs, servicing of boilers, fires, and other appliances in line with manufacturer instructions and industry best practices.</li><li>Issue safety certificates and keep accurate records using electronic or manual systems.</li><li>Manage stock replenishment efficiently and liaise with approved suppliers.</li><li>Participate in the on-call rota to provide 24/7 emergency cover across our property portfolio.</li></ul><h4>Min<strong>imum Essential Criteria:</strong></h4><ul><li>Gas related qualifications - Domestic: ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, HWSS1,CMDDA1, WREG</li><li>Proven track record in a service or maintenance engineering role, particularly responding to breakdown scenarios.</li><li>Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.</li><li>Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations.</li><li>A full UK driving licence is required.</li></ul><h4><strong>Skills and Aptitudes:</strong></h4><ul><li>Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.</li><li>Strong technical acumen with experience using a variety of diagnostic tools and software.</li><li>Outstanding communication skills, able to interact effectively with stakeholders and customers</li></ul><p>To see our benefit package, please <a href="https://flagshipgroup.teamtailor.com/pages/gasway-benefits-admin-engineer%20">CLICK HERE</a></p><p>At Gasway, we are committed to investing in your development.
