Salary range (but not limited to):

47,100 - 57,500

Incentive plan

Annual bonus: 5% target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to 200% (subject to personal and company performance)

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We are looking for a Life and Health Insurance Administrator to join our growing team!

What you'll be doing here:   

  • Work amongst a team of Life and Health Insurance Administrators supporting Life Advisors in achieving annual growth targets through sales and retention
  • Work with various Life Insurance Companies and MGA’s
  • Deliver on quality client service meeting defined service standards. 
  • Collaborate with Advisors, Life Administrators, and Insurers with a view to meeting client requests for policy changes  
  • Support and assist Life and Health new business processes, in force and renewal processes, endorsements, summaries, statements and other necessary tasks within the client policy life cycle
  • Maintain high quality Client Files and documentation within our Broker Management System ensuring Industry Compliant Practices are adhered to.
  • Complete Client touch points throughout the policy life cycle
  • Identify cross sell, policy renewal and conversion opportunities for the Life Advisor to support the departmental growth goals
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing correspondence with clients, companies, MGA and Sales Advisors
  • Participate in company initiatives, and individual personal learning and development throughout the performance cycle. 

What you bring to the table:

  • Post-Secondary Education
  • Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Travel Insurance and Wealth Product knowledge and working experience
  • Bilingual as an asset
  • Computer skills - Keyboarding and MS Office
  • Exposure to Epic is an asset
  • Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Conscientious and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Life License is an asset
