Identifies business needs and determines solutions to business problems. Solutions may consist of a software-systems development component, process improvement, organizational change or strategic planning and policy development. Acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives, enhancements and/or requirements. Prepares communications and presentations on proposed system solutions.
