Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team in El Dorado Hills, California. In this role as a Physical Security Console Operator, you will support onsite security operations, maintaining the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets. You will be responsible for monitoring the following: the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system, the access control system, security records, key control, ID/access badge issue for employees and logging of visitors, physical security of the site, equipment dispatch accountability, electronic inventory accountability, and safety inspections. 
 

This position is 100% onsite at our El Dorado Hills, CA location. The work hours are Overnight, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM, nights of the week will vary.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and operate the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system, event alarms, and access control systems to ensure continuous security coverage

  • Maintain and update security records, including key control, ID/access badge issuance, electronic inventory logs, and the historical logbook

  • Oversee and regulate personnel access into the facility to safeguard restricted and sensitive areas

  • Conduct fire safety inspections and other routine facility checks as directed

  • Perform initial investigations of incidents and notify appropriate authorities of any procedural or policy breaches

  • Support the protection of assets and personnel by maintaining situational awareness and reporting any irregularities or security concerns promptly

  • Compose reports for incidents and shift change notes
     

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with computers, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with Security, Facilities, and other departmental teams

  • Keen observation skills and a vigilant, proactive approach to identifying and reporting potential security issues

  • Prior security or control room experience preferred, but not required
     

 Salary range is $18.00 per hour plus a 10% shift differential for overnight shift. This position is eligible for annual bonus.
