Shift - 4on 4off, days and nights rotating 7 am - 7 pm, 7 pm - 7 am!

For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.
 
With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 5 production facilities and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.

 

About the Role

 

Join Britvic's Rugby facility, the largest production site in the group, responsible for producing up to 65% of the company's volume. As a Technical Operator, you'll be part of a dynamic team producing Can, PET, and Aseptic products across Juices, Carbonates, and Sports Drinks categories, including major brands such as Pepsi, 7UP, Tango, Gatorade, and Fruit Shoot.

In this role, you'll ensure production targets are met or exceeded while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Working in a highly flexible, multi-skilled team, you'll contribute directly to the site's performance goals while operating and maintaining critical equipment.

 

Role Responsibilities

 

  • Execute operational duties to achieve efficiency and performance targets across designated production areas
  • Perform first-line maintenance, routine diagnostics, and lubrication schedules to maintain optimal plant efficiency
  • Conduct required quality checks and complete accurate reporting procedures to ensure product excellence
  • Execute plant/product changeovers efficiently within agreed timescales and targets
  • Ensure all production adheres to Quality, Food Safety, and Health & Safety standards as specified in site documentation
  • Operate forklift trucks as needed and maintain exemplary standards of hygiene and housekeeping
  • Utilize business control systems such as SAP to manage product inventory and tracking requirements
  • Train colleagues on workstation operations and actively participate in cross-functional improvement teams

 

Experience and Key Attributes

 

  • Proven experience in a production environment with the ability to work independently and take appropriate action
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated flexibility to work across multiple production areas
  • Strong desire to achieve success with a clear understanding of how individual actions connect to business goals
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in all aspects of work
  • Aptitude for developing skills in self and others, with comfort working with numerical data
  • Basic standard of education with capability to achieve NVQ level II or equivalent
  • Experience with SAP systems is advantageous but not essential
