Overview
A loving family of four just outside downtown Burlingame, CA, is seeking a part-time live-out family assistant. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 7 am- 1 pm. About 25-30 hours per week. There is a full-time SAHM with two children, ages 1 and 6 years old. The older child is in school daily, so it is usually just the toddler. The position is looking to hire immediately.
Responsibilities
- Daily childcare of a toddler
- Taking them to the park/playground
- Getting them dressed for the day
- Meal prep/cooking and feeding breakfast or lunch to the children
- Playing/reading/educational activities, etc
- Assist with tasks around the house
- Running errands, etc., as needed (not only strictly childcare).
- Flexible to change day-to-day: One day may be to watch the toddler while mom goes out vs. another day may be asked to help around the house with tasks like cleaning up after the kids' breakfast, doing dishes, putting away their laundry, organizing kids rooms/clothes, making their beds, wiping down surfaces, possibly running to grocery store or Target to pick up groceries/essentials
Requirements
- Must be legal to work in the US
- Clean and valid driver's license
- CPR-certified
- Prior experience with toddler-aged children
- Positive, patient, and loving demeanor
Salary and Benefits
The family is offering $40-45/hr.
