Overview
A loving family in Palm Beach, Florida, is seeking a top-notch housekeeper to support an older gentleman in a private residence. The candidate will work collaboratively with an established household team, including a butler and a 24-hour nursing staff, in a professional and well-structured environment.
This position is a live-out role to start, with the possibility of transitioning to live-in at a later date, if mutually agreed. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 9am-4pm, with some flexibility if needed; however, weekend coverage is required.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough and detail-oriented cleaning, including deep cleaning on a daily basis
Assist with meal preparation, particularly on weekends and during butler vacation coverage
Work in coordination with existing household staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and high household standards
Provide discreet, respectful support within the home
The household is pet-free, and no driving or errands are required.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a private household or similar high-standard environment
Comfortable working alongside other household staff and medical professionals
Dependable, flexible, and proactive with strong attention to detail
Professional, respectful, and service-oriented demeanor
- Extreme discretion and compassion is needed for this role
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Ability to consistently cover a weekend-inclusive schedule
Comfortable cooking and working with other staff
Salary and Benefits
- Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Additional details regarding salary and benefits will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process
- Pay will range from $40-$45 per hr plus a health stipend and is flexible for the right person
