Overview
A wonderful first-time family is seeking a full-time, live-out nanny to care for their 3-month-old daughter. The family primarily resides in Dubai and spends approximately three months of the year at their second residence in the Bahamas.
The schedule will be 5 days, Monday through Friday, and 8-10-hour days. The parents would like the flexibility to occasionally have later finishes for date nights.
The mother works part-time from home and is available during the day. Even though this is a sole-charge role, there will be times when the nanny will cross over, and the mom will take the baby. During this time, the nanny will be able to complete other tasks and responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be confident and knowledgeable with this age group and able to think two steps ahead. You should also be able to read a room and know when to step back.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Washing bottles and sanitizing toys
- Handle all infant care, including managing sleep and feeding schedules
- Preparing and introducing solids when the time comes
- Keeping her spaces organized and tidy
- Ensuring nursery supplies are always available and ordering when needed
- Going out for daily walks (weather permitting)
- Scheduling classes and playdates as she gets older
- Communicating with first-time parents about milestones and development
- Traveling with the parents when needed
- Organizing and packing when traveling
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable about infant and childhood development
- Warm, kind, and loving
- The ability to drive isn't required, but would be a bonus
- Babysit on occasion
- Seeking longevity with a family
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-years experience in a childcaring role
- Experience working with children of a similar age
- High fluency in spoken English
- Ability to travel with the parents is desired
- Up-to-date CPR/First Aid certificate
Salary and Benefits
- 25,000 AED per month
- UAE visa provided

What you'll do
