About this role
Overview
A lovely family of four recently relocated to Dubai is seeking a full-time, live-in nanny/educator to care for their two children, aged 1.5 years and 3.5 years. They will be provided with a private bedroom and bathroom. The standard schedule will 6-days per week, Monday through Friday, 8/9am to 6pm, they may be open to a 5- or 5.5-day week for the right candidate.
Both parents are around during the day, with the father working from home. They are very hands-on with the children, and the nanny will be working closely with the mother. There may be times when you have sole charge of both children as well as 1-1 time with them.
Their older child will be attending nursery from 8am to 2pm, 5 days a week, and will follow the British Curriculum. The family is seeking guidance on organizing a schedule and offering structure to the children's daily lives, especially their younger child.
This is an animal-loving household, with the family owning a Golden Retriever and a cat; however, these pets will not be the nanny's responsibility.
The ideal candidate will be kind, loving, resourceful, and energetic.
Responsibilities
The parents are likely to be around for much of the time, and the mother is very involved with the children's care. The candidate will need to be comfortable working alongside the parents and playing a supportive role if required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing daily routines including, activities and classes, dinner, etc.
- Plan and engage the children in developmentally appropriate and enriching activities
- Encourage the children's language and communication development
- Oversee children’s calendars, wardrobe management, packing for trips
- Plan play-dates, and outings
- Travel with family and ensure all logistics are in order
- Maintain healthy habits, good table manners, and respectful behaviour
- Babysitting when required for date nights
- The mother typically cooks the children's food but there may be times when the nanny will be asked to prepare snacks and the occasional meal
Requirements

Salary and Benefits
- 25,000 AED per month
- UAE visa provided
