Summary:

The US Commercial Analytics BA Analyst II will serve as a strategic partner supporting the US Commercial Analytics Lead and collaborating closely with the Commercial Business Insights & Analytics team. This role primarily focuses on brand analytics with patient analytics expertise. The associate will leverage deep expertise in US healthcare datasets and commercial analytics to drive impactful insights and support strategic decision-making across therapeutic areas.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support complex analytics projects involving subnational & claims data, prescriptions data, calls and execution analysis, and ad-hoc secondary data analytics to support US Commercial strategy
  • Have a thorough understanding of all the KPIs and datasets to evaluate which metric should be used to answer the business question
  • Collaborate with US-based Commercial team members to identify business questions and develop analytic plans to address them
  • Apply advanced analytics methodologies including predictive modelling and machine learning to derive insights from large datasets
  • Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices in analytics and data governance
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and the evolving US healthcare landscape

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
  • Experience in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and machine learning techniques
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with US healthcare datasets (IQVIA and SHS claims, subnationals) and tools/language such as SQL, Python, Tableau and R

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, statistics, or data science
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in US Commercial Analytics
  • Proven track record of managing complex analytics projects and delivering impactful insights
  • Experience working with diverse datasets including patient-level claims data, prescriptions, execution data.
