
Job DetailsJob Location: Bristol Hospice - Salt Lake - SALT LAKE CITY, UT 84116Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: AnyThe Managed Care Provider/Payor Relations Manager will be responsible for obtaining, coordinating, managing, monitoring, and maintaining not only credentialing and recredentialing process for all Bristol Hospice sites nationally. This position will facilitate all aspects of payor/provider relations and credentialing activities including but not limited credentialing and contracting. The Manager will assist in compliance with the
contracted managed care payors accrediting and regulatory agencies while developing and maintaining a working knowledge of the organizations guidelines, policy, procedures and Federal and State laws

Qualifications, Duties, PerksAn Average Day:
(Includes, but not limited to)
Manage and perform all aspects of credentialing activities with contracts payors
Work with internal staff to manage and obtain necessary documentation to submit to payor organizations for provider credentialing and recredentialing
Work with Payors to request joining their provider network and obtain approval from payors to proceed forward with agreement
Maintain an extensive data base for all AIM providers credentialing documentation
Manage the flow of information between managed care payors Medicare, Medicaid, and PHOs/IPA affiliation
Communicate updated policies and procedures to staff members
Assist National Director of Contracting in developing Managed Care training materials
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must have a bachelors’ degree in a related field
Must have at least one (1) year of administrative health care experience
Must have at least one (1) year of hospice/homecare experience
