Job Summary:

In this role, you will provide community-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults, ensuring their unique needs are met through tailored interventions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide community-based mental health services through assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention implementation.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and stakeholders to craft and execute individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize a strengths-based approach that emphasizes empowerment and skill-building, and incorporate evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Coordinate care effectively with service providers, including primary care physicians and community organizations.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress to ensure compliance with policies.
  • Participate in staff development activities and contribute to the organization's quality improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare for and facilitate PSR group sessions pertinent to client treatment goals.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related human services field;
    OR
  • Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with two years of related work experience;
    OR
  • Any combination of four years of higher education and relevant work experience;
    OR
  • Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support;
    OR
  • Four years of qualifying experience working with individuals with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must complete a successful background check including criminal record and driving record.
  • Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record; must have reliable transportation to transport clients.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
  • Jobs involve sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing as needed.
