Position Scope

  • Assist in shooting, producing, and editing short-form photo and video content. 
  • Re-cut and reformat video clips under supervision. 
  • Schedule social media posts across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.). 
  • Engages actively with the online community to build brand loyalty and manage reputation. 
  • Monitor and respond to user comments, questions, or concerns under guidance. 
  • Help organize and maintain digital assets on Dropbox. 
  • Support digital music uploads and playlist management. 
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager. 

Requirements

  • Familiar with social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Yelp and Trip Advisor.
  • Able to use various photo, video, and audio equipment such as DSLR cameras, mirrorless cameras, video cameras, GoPro cameras, audio mics, and boom mics.
  • Willing to learn piloting a drone, capturing quality video and photos.
  • Familiar with computer software programs such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Fluent in the English language and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Full range of body movement and can lift 25 to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

19 hours; M-F (and special events)

Approximate starting hourly rate:

$14.00 - $16.00

The wage offered could be above or below range based on education and experience as it relates to the job description.

Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations

Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks
