Job Summary

This internship allow the intern to apply academic training in intercultural peacebuilding, social entrepreneurship, and Pacific studies in a direct community context. Kahuaola operates at the intersection of culture, leadership development, ʻāina-based education, and community engagement.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Handling culturally sensitive responsibilities and relationships with faculty, staff, community partners, and cultural practitioners.
  • Supporting strategic development and operational systems that require consistency beyond a single semester or fluctuating student schedule.
  • Upholding standards of cultural protocol, safety, and stewardship that require specialized training and oversight.
  • Managing projects that demand advanced leadership, communication, and program development experience.
