Job Summary
The CFM Teaching Assistant (TA) helps instructors with grading, preparing materials and managing in-class and hands-on learning activities. Responsibilities include:
Primary Responsibilities
Fulfills various clerical duties such as filing, copying etc., in order to keep organized records.
Assists with grading, preparation and class organization through the Canvas LMS.
Setting up and taking down shop/lab spaces for course-related projects.
Coaching students on assignments and lab procedures.
Performing lab/shop maintenance and project work with an emphasis on safe tool use.
Assist with general classroom and course-related administrative tasks.
Supporting communication efforts, including content for social media and reports as needed.
Collaborating on departmental initiatives with the administrative assistant.
Working with other CFM employees on related duties.
Assist in any other duties related to the CFM program research and tutoring as assigned.
