Job Summary

To verify all cash, travelers’ cheques and credit slips against a predetermined total for Concessions, Reservations, and all retail operations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Verifies all cash, travelers’ cheques, credit slips, vouchers and/or returned tickets against a predetermined total.
  • Prepares cash drawers and cash register keys for pick-up by cashiers and sales personnel.

Requirements:

  • Must be an Accounting Major. ( Sophomores and Juniors)
  • Able to use a 10-key calculator by touch. 
  • Good eyesight and manual dexterity.  
  • Able to communicate in English.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or the equivalent.

Must attach Resume and current semester class schedule (weekly view)
 

Work Schedule:
To Be Determined (19 hours)

All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie.

Approximate starting hourly rate:

$14.00 - $16.00

The wage offered could be above or below range based on education and experience as it relates to the job description.

Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations

Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks
