About this role
At Bridges Preparatory School, elementary school teachers make a significant impact on young minds and shape the future generation. To excel, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in elementary education along with a current South Carolina teaching certification or the willingness to obtain one. A Gifted and Talented endorsement is preferred, enabling you to effectively challenge and engage all learners. While teaching experience is preferred, we welcome recent graduates with a passion for teaching. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will work closely with instructional teams and administrators to enhance student learning. Additionally, proficiency in educational technology and software will be crucial for delivering effective lessons and tracking student progress, allowing you to create an interactive and impactful learning experience.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Bachelor's degree in specific area of education
- Current Certification in South Carolina or ability to obtain certificate.
- Gifted and Talented endorsement preferred
- Three years experience preferred but not required
Bridges offers competitive salary schedule and benefits package with PEBA.
This position is for the 2026 2027 school year, follows the approved school calendar and is a 190 day teacher schedule.
