Key Responsibilities:
Support site management and champion Process Safety Management (PSM) as per operational requirements.
Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to devise and implement plant, process, and procedural improvements that enhance working methods.
Prioritise and ensure timely generation and progression of work orders.
Collate Near Miss, Incident, and Accident data, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are progressed to maintain and enhance site Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality, and Operational standards.
Operational Requirements:
Operate and update the Multisol/Brenntag material asset database (Shire) for certified equipment inspections and asset lists.
Identify and manage the robustness of Process Safety Critical systems and equipment, supporting the Process Engineer in related projects.
Locate, identify, and make visible site assets using available equipment.
Support maintenance teams in recording and progressing remedial activities and work orders.
Ensure the Management of Change (MOC) process is fully documented and integrated into site improvement activities.
Verify and update P&IDs for plant and process proposals and changes.
Improvements and Efficiency:
Drive continuous improvement using techniques such as 5S and Lean principles to reduce waste and optimise throughput.
Develop systems that eliminate operational/human error.
Produce clear, concise reports and recommendations, including monthly reports for Multisol/Brenntag.
Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ):
Collaborate with site management to ensure ISO standards are maintained.
Assist in SHEQ-related incident investigations and risk assessments as required.
Manage site contractors, including recurring roles such as gardening services.
Candidate Requirements:
Strong understanding of Process Safety Management principles and operational requirements.
Experience in asset management and maintenance support within a chemical or industrial environment.
Knowledge of SHEQ standards and compliance processes.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to produce accurate reports.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
