The Analyst Cash Application is responsible for reviewing and reconciling all incoming payments on a daily basis and preparing accurate, detailed, and well-organized accounts receivable reconciliations for both customer and internal requests. The role involves identifying and communicating payment discrepancies in close collaboration with the collections team and actively managing a portfolio of receivable accounts to ensure aged balances remain within defined business targets. In addition, the Analyst Cash Application prepares scheduled and ad hoc financial analysis reports, ensures adherence to agreed service levels, company policies, and procedures, and resolves operational issues independently, escalating them to the supervisor when necessary.
Review and reconcile all payments received on a current and daily basis
Prepare detailed, accurate and organized accounts receivablereconciliations for customer requests as well as internal requests
Identify and communicate discrepancies in payments received withcollections team
Focus on managing portfolio of receivable accounts and ensure agedbalances remain within the set business targets
Prepare scheduled /ad hoc financial analysis reports
Adhere to agreed service levels, company policies and procedures
Resolve operational issues and escalate to supervisor where necessary
Experience in Cash App
Strong team player
Familiar with office productivity tools (MS Office etc.)
Good knowledge of ERP
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Italian speaking
