About this role

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Load and/or unload bulk, drummed, toted, or bagged material from company trucks, common carriers, and tankers.

  • Perform all duties in a safe manner and follow all rules and regulations.

  • Properly care for and use all equipment such as forklifts, drum handling equipment, pumps, hoses, etc.

  • Secure dual sign off before transferring any product from one vessel to another.

  • Properly use materials such as labels, placards, stenciling and paint.

  • Perform packaging and blending of hazardous/nonhazardous chemicals into proper container (i.e. - tote, drum, bulk).

  • Assure stock and the warehouse facility is maintained in a safe, clean, ad orderly condition.

  • Follow all operating procedures, work instructions and quality systems in place.

  • Report all non-conformances as they occur using proper forms.

  • Attend and actively participate in all safety and quality meetings as required.

  • Complete all training as required in the Regulatory/Compliance Training Program.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Your Profile 

Education & Experience 

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role within an industrial/chemical environment.

  • Must have the ability to repeatedly bend; lift, push, pull and or move up to 100 pounds; proper lifting techniques required.

  • Ability to wear proper protective equipment such as safety goggles/glasses, Tyvek suits, steel toed boot, etc.

  • Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions in the English language.

  • Comfortable with the use of a Forklift, and general warehouse duties.

  • Employment is contingent upon completion of background investigation, pre-employment fit for duty, E-Verify check, and pre-employment drug screening.
