THE ROLE
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in managing accounts payable, supporting financial statement preparation, and assisting with month-end close processes. This role will work closely with our Controller and finance team to ensure smooth financial operations across all festival markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Accounts Payable for artists, vendors, and employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.
- Assist in month-end close procedures, including journal entries and bank reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow statements.
- Maintain and reconcile expense management systems (Ramp, Expensify, artist payments).
- Assist in festival settlement close processes, ensuring financial accuracy post-event.
- Contribute to cash flow forecasting and general ledger maintenance.
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience with expense management systems and accounting software.
- Strong foundation in Accounts Payable, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct and Ramp.
- Experience working in live events, entertainment, or festival finance is a plus.
