Job Description:

As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll play a key leadership role—both technically and as a mentor. You’ll guide and support your team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. In this role, you’ll help shape goals, prioritize initiatives, and ensure successful delivery in a product-led, empowered team structure. You’ll be a trusted technical advisor, collaborating across functions to build robust and scalable systems.

Become a part of a high-performing, collaborative team of engineers, working alongside industry-leading technologists to define the future of compute and data platforms. We're tackling real-world challenges with cutting-edge solutions that drive meaningful impact across our organization.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop complex software components, services, and scalable solutions.
  • Author and review architecture and design documents, incorporating peer feedback effectively.
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring high-quality code, thorough testing, and seamless deployment.
  • Integrate systems across distributed platforms and shared APIs, ensuring resilience and reusability.
  • Collaborate with product, UX, and data science teams to align technology with business needs.
  • Identify and implement compliance controls, and support audits (e.g., security, licensing, regulatory).
  • Mentor junior engineers, share best practices, and foster continuous improvement across the team.
  • Contribute to development frameworks, perform code reviews, and help establish engineering standards.
  • Communicate project status, technical decisions, and changes to cross-functional stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with proficiency across front-end and back-end systems.
  • Strong coding skills in TypeScriptC#, and Python.
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Solid grasp of front-end technologies including HTMLCSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks, with a focus on responsive design and accessibility.
  • Cloud-native development experience on AWSAzure, or GCP.
  • Proficient with both relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and performance tuning.
  • Strong system design skills, capable of architecting secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code tools.

Experience (Desirable):

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence, align teams, and explain complex ideas clearly.
  • Confident in navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems with practical, scalable solutions.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable—thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments with minimal supervision.
  • Committed to continuous learning and fostering growth within the team.
  • Open to exploring and adopting new tools, frameworks, and workflows.
