Job Description:

The Supply & Demand Planning Lead – Mexico is responsible for end‑to‑end planning performance, including demand forecasting, supply execution, inventory optimization, and service delivery for the MCCA Market Cluster. The role integrates customer demand, manufacturing capacity, inventory policies, and logistics constraints into a unified plan that meets business goals for service, revenue, cost, and working capital. As the single planning owner for Mexico, this position collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and capability hubs. It also uses advanced digital tools like Kinaxis Maestro and ERP systems to deliver data‑driven scenarios, trade‑off analyses, and leadership across S&OP and S&OE processes.

Job Summary

Integrated Demand & Supply Planning

  • Deliver a robust, unconstrained demand plan for the Mexico market by combining statistical forecasting with validated commercial intelligence from Sales and Marketing.
  • Translate demand signals into feasible, optimized supply plans that balance service, revenue, inventory, capacity, and cost.
  • Lead the demand and supply inputs to the S&OP and weekly S&OE processes, clearly articulating risks, opportunities, and assumptions.
  • Ensure alignment between commercial ambition, financial targets, and operational capability.

Finished Goods Supply Network Coordination

  • Act as the primary planning interface between Mexico commercial teams and global shared services (FBT, BTC).
  • Coordinate production, deployment, and inventory positioning to deliver agreed service and inventory targets.
  • Embed new product introductions (NPI) and project requirements across all planning horizons 

End-to-End Supply Chain Optimization

  • Deliver inventory outcomes that balance customer service, working capital efficiency, and obsolescence risk.
  • Own finished goods stock allocation and replenishment decisions in line with demand signals and inventory policies.
  • Partner with Logistics teams to improve transportation efficiency, lead times, cost, and sustainability performance.
  • Ensure supply continuity during demand volatility, promotions, and seasonal changes.

S&OP / S&OE Decision Support

  • Provide scenario-based insights and recommendations to support decision-making in S&OP, Supply Review, and weekly S&OE forums.
  • Clearly articulate trade-offs and recommend optimal paths forward when capacity, material, or logistics constraints arise.
  • Proactively surface risks and recovery plans to leadership.

Data, Systems & Planning Excellence

  • Leverage Kinaxis Maestro to develop demand forecasts, 
  • Own and track key planning important metrics, including forecast accuracy, forecast bias, service level, inventory health,
  • Drive continuous improvement through analytics-led insights that enhance agility, execution, and inventory outcomes.
  • Ensure planning data reflects operational reality and aligns with global governance standards.

Supplier & Manufacturing Coordination

  • Partner closely with internal manufacturing teams and 3P/FBI suppliers to ensure timely production and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, Logistics, or related field 
  • Extensive and solid experience in supply planning, demand planning, or integrated business planning, preferably within global or regional environments.Proven experience leading planning teams, including performance management and talent development.
  • Strong end-to-end understanding of the planning cycle from demand through supply, inventory, and capacity planning.
  • Advanced user of digital planning tools (Kinaxis Maestro highly desirable) and ERP systems (SAP ECC / S4 HANA or equivalent).
  • Experience in scenario modelling, capacity analysis, and trade-off decision support.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder leadership skills across commercial and operational functions.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed, and international environment.
  • Confident challenger of the status quo with a continuous improvement approach.

Work Location & Shift Pattern

Santa Fe, CDMX.

8:00am to 5:00pm

Hybrid, 2 days remote 3 days in the office.
