The Counterparty Due Diligence (CDD) senior analyst is responsible for accurate, timely and effective on-boarding of new counterparties, and periodic CDD review of already existing counterparties of bp’s supply, trading and shipping (ST&S) organization. The CDD senior analyst is responsible for the operation of robust control processes over quality of CDD records as well as AML/ABC/CTF/sanctions risk associated with counterparties. The CDD senior analyst works closely with regional CDD teams, the commercial organization, Ethics and Compliance, legal teams and other functions within FBT (e.g. reference data and settlements).
This role will also ensure that the on-boarding and periodic review process meets UK and International AML/KYC regulatory standards and bp and ST&S policies.
Consistent with finance strategy, this role should support initiatives driving efficiencies through automation and process improvements and capability development of the team.
