About this role

Overview

Sugarloaf is currently seeking a dynamic and task focused individual to join our Lodging team in the role of Resort Night Auditor and Front Desk Representative. The primary function of the Auditor and Front Desk Rep is to assist guests with their requests and to balance accounts from daily operations. This role serves as the face of Sugarloaf Lodging for overnight and evening guests and will perform end of day duties throughout their shift that include balancing revenue and expense transactions.

 

The ideal candidate for this role will have a pleasant personality, excellent guest service skills, and great attention to detail. This year-round position is eligible for company benefits and comes with great resort discounts and perks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior front desk service including but not limited to, using the computer to take reservations, quote/book lodging packages and running reports as needed.
  • Reconcile all lodging accounts, process accounting transactions, and prepare reports for departments and managers.
  • Perform cash reconciliation duties; prepare bank deposits, apply payments to accounts and deliver deposits for delivery.
  • Interact in a professional manner to all Guests, owners, and other Resort Departments.
  • Operate the switchboard to take or to answer questions, forward or transfer calls to expedite service. 
  • Meticulously follow the instructions of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide detailed communication of all guest interactions.

Qualifications

The right fit for this role will:

  • be able to work evenings and weekends and be able to adjust to a flexible schedule driven by business levels and guest volume.
  • be well-organized and able to work independently, multitasking as necessary to complete tasks
  • possess strong communication skills and be comfortable with telephone communication
  • have at least 6 months of previous experience in a customer service role
