Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Steward and become an integral part of creating exceptional dining experiences

 

In this essential role, you'll ensure the seamless flow of our kitchen operations by managing dishware collection, cleaning, and distribution while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. You'll be the backbone that supports both our culinary team and front-of-house operations, contributing directly to our guests' memorable mountain dining experience.

 

Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, the Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is a lot to do all year long.


Responsibilities

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Execute precise cleaning and sanitization of all dishware, glassware, flatware, cookware, and kitchen equipment using both automated systems and specialized hand-washing techniques to ensure optimal hygiene standards.
  • Orchestrate the organization and maintenance of kitchen work areas, ensuring all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned, positioned, and ready for seamless culinary operations.
  • Coordinate the strategic placement and storage of clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment to maximize kitchen efficiency and support rapid service delivery
  • Manage comprehensive waste management systems including proper sorting and disposal of garbage, recycling, and compost materials in accordance with environmental sustainability practices.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate effective English communication skills, both verbal and written, when interacting with employees and guests at all levels in a professional, attentive, and service-oriented manner.
  • Exhibit strong active listening skills with the ability to understand and address concerns raised by employees and guests.
  • Display collaborative teamwork abilities and maintain a professional approach in all interactions.
  • Successfully multitask and prioritize departmental responsibilities to meet operational deadlines. 
  • Approach all guest and team member interactions with enthusiasm, courtesy, and a commitment to exceptional hospitality.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid Washington State Food Worker Card prior to employment.

Wage and Benefit Info:

The wage for this positions is: $21.00 - $23.55/hr + Tips

This is a non-benefited role.

All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).

All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.

All Team Members may participate in our Ally Heath benefit. It gives fast and easy access to Telemedicine and Mental Health appointments. It covers all family members and there are no copays or deductibles. It is a $4 deduction each week.
