Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician's typical job functions include:

  • Performing pool care and maintenance; boiler room water chemical testing and water softener care and maintenance
  • Conducting air conditioning and heat change over
  • Completing guest room care and maintenance
  • Performing food service equipment repair and maintenance
  • Reviewing and performing preventative maintenance on plant equipment
  • Assisting in snow and trash removal
  • Performing infrastructure maintenance; water system inspection and maintenance
  • Maintaining accurate time and material repair billing records
  • Utilizing a motor vehicle to pick up supplies, parts and other materials as necessary

Qualifications

This position might be for you if:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • Achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • You possess a working knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and electrical

  • You have a  knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems (preferred)

  • You are responsible for your own basic hand tools; Boyne Mountain will supply any specialty tools and equipment

  • You are able to crouch, bend, stand and/or sit in one position for prolonged periods of time
  • You possess a valid driver’s license
