This is a full-time position. The Housekeeping Team Lead will be responsible for inspecting guest rooms after they are cleaned by housekeeping staff, ensuring all areas of the room are properly cleaned according to brand standard. Candidate will ensure all guest supplies are in their proper place, and any special request items are available before the guest arrives. Candidate must be detail oriented and possess the ability to multi task especially under stressful situations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms after a full cleaning to ensure quality standards
- Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms
- Assist Houskeeping Management in managing daily activities
- Respond to guest complaints and special requests
- Train Housekeepers on cleaning procedures
- Participate in cleaning rooms as needed during busy times
- Ensure all maintenence requests are reported to the proper department
- Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
- Follow and monitor compliance with safety and sanitation policies
Qualifications
- Must be available weekends, weeknights, and holidays
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Long periods of standing required
- Must be a self-starter
- Heavy lifting up to 50lbs desired
- Must be able to bend, twist, push, pull, go up and down stairs
- Background checks required
