About this role
Would you like to be the face of Sunday River Resort and the Hotel? A Bell Person/ Valet is a positive, enthusiastic, welcoming team player who is highly engaging and an informative ambassador to all guests. This role assists guests in the transporting of their luggage, the storage of their ski/snowboard gear, and may park their vehicles while ensuring guests experience a superior level of service. We are looking for full-time and part-time seasonal positions.
Responsibilities
- Create a warm welcome for all guests
- Working knowledge of departures and arrivals
- Knowledge of events and activities at the resort and the local area
- Keeping all work areas clean and safe
- Safely parking and retrieving guest’s vehicles
- Assisting with snow removal and salting/sanding in guest areas
- Police the parking areas for proper guest parking of all vehicles
- Prepared to work outside in all weather conditions
- Performs any other task as requested by the manager
- Send every guest off with a fond farewell
Qualifications
- Previous experience is preferred but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valets must have a clean driving record
Compensation & Benefits
- Wage ranges from at $17 to $22, depending on experience and qualifications, plus gratuities, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement
