Responsibilities

The Grounds Maintenance typical job functions include:

  • Pick up litter around resort
  • Maintain Boyne Mountain's irrigation systems
  • Cut lawn using hand, power, or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
  • Utilize hand tools and landscaping maintenance equipment to maintain and improve the appearance of the resort grounds
  • Landscape by planting grass, shrubs, and bushes
  • Apply fertilizer to enhance growth
  • Backpack blow walkway clear of debris
  • Cut down tree limbs that pose a danger
  • Trim shrubs and pull weeds
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping
  • Rake, and prune grounds as needed
  • Water plants and grass as needed

Qualifications

 

This position might be for you if:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • You have a valid driver's license
  • You enjoy working outdoors in any weather conditions
  • You prefer a physical job that includes occasional lifting of over 50 pounds
