Responsibilities
The Grounds Maintenance typical job functions include:
- Pick up litter around resort
- Maintain Boyne Mountain's irrigation systems
- Cut lawn using hand, power, or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
- Utilize hand tools and landscaping maintenance equipment to maintain and improve the appearance of the resort grounds
- Landscape by planting grass, shrubs, and bushes
- Apply fertilizer to enhance growth
- Backpack blow walkway clear of debris
- Cut down tree limbs that pose a danger
- Trim shrubs and pull weeds
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping
- Rake, and prune grounds as needed
- Water plants and grass as needed
Qualifications
This position might be for you if:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- You have a valid driver's license
- You enjoy working outdoors in any weather conditions
- You prefer a physical job that includes occasional lifting of over 50 pounds
