As a leader at the Front Desk, you are responsible for coordinating front office activities of the resort and resolving any problems that arise from guest complaints including reservation and room assignments. Your focus will be building a cohesive team focused on providing our guests excellent service while maintaining all brand standards. Your role is key to the overall experience the guest will have. Your keen sense of being proactive, responsive and caring will make all the difference. Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations room rates, amenities, and selling strategies.
  • Take reservation requests efficiently.
  • Answer Front Desk Phone in accordance with standards of proper telephone etiquette.
  • Block rooms and handles special requests.
  • Handle safe deposits by guests per established procedures.
  • Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures
  • Assist in training of new hires and current associates on a regular basis
  • Ensure front desk is adequately staffed at all times which may require covering call offs

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year at a front desk or guest service experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous point of sale software experience, and familiarity with Microsoft Office required.
