Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Big Sky Resort, you will:

  • Provide quick, courteous, and accurate service at the point of sale with a positive attitude
  • Communicate clearly with guests and team members, creating a smooth checkout experience
  • Follow established procedures for handling transactions, cash, and credit card processing
  • Keep the checkout area organized, stocked, and impeccably clean
  • Assist with restocking and light prep as needed, and step into support roles to help the larger team
  • Share helpful information about Big Sky Resort and the surrounding area to enhance the guest experience
  • Uphold cleanliness, safety, and service standards in line with Boyne Basics and Boyne Standards

Qualifications

Recipe for Success:

  • Passion for guest service and a genuine interest in hospitality
  • Polite and professional demeanor in all guest interactions
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability for doing tasks right the first time
  • Comfort with repetitive tasks and consistent performance in a fast-paced environment
  • Clean and safe work habits with strong attention to detail
  • Availability for a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift, push or pull at least 35 pounds
  • Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
  • Must be able to climb stairs multiple times per shift
  • Must be able to carry a full tray with either hand
