Job Description:

The Mechanic is responsible for repairs to the vehicle such as electrical, suspension, braking and steering. The Mechanic works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs.

 

Key Job Responsibilities 

  • Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
  • Inspects and identifies parts in need of repair such as electrical, suspension, braking, steering
  • Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs
  • Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manuals as needed 
  • Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
  • Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs
  • Apply new knowledge and skills to ensure a high level of quality and productivity, which directly contributes to KPI’s (Sales/ CP/ EBITA/ BHPD/ NPS).
  • Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously seek learning opportunities to improve performance

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Automotive Service Technician Program
 

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Licensed Automotive Service Technician
  • Minimum of 3 years Automotive Service Technician or Mechanic experience
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Other Requirements Travel, physical requirements, etc.

  • Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift approximately 50 lbs.
  • Must provide your own tools
  • Valid driver’s license required
