About this role
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for monitoring and supervising all PEP activities and assigned staff. This includes, but is not limited to record keeping and all necessary reports and clinical notes. Responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are followed by staff on their shift, including security and fire safety of the building. Must be available for weekly program meetings. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma or equivalent required. One year of supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of addictions and recovery process. Computer literacy required. First Aid and Fire Safety certification or ability to pass tests to acquire these credentials required. CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.

About Bowery Residents' Committee
BRC is one of New York City's largest providers of housing and services for individuals experiencing homelessness. Founded in 1971 by a group of recovering alcoholics living in poverty in the Bowery’s infamous flophouses, these individuals had hope, and a firm belief that better days lay ahead.
BRC serves nearly 13,000 individuals each year, operating more than 30 programs throughout the greater metropolitan area. The organization’s robust continuum of housing and services includes over 3,700 units of transitional and permanent housing; outreach and case management programs; and substance use and medical services. - The Per Diem Shift Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and supervising all activities and staff at the Palace Employment Residence. This includes ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, maintaining records, and providing emergency assistance as needed.
