Our integrated payments platform processes billions of dollars annually, is scaling rapidly, and underpins the trust our customers place in us every day.</p> <p>As we continue to grow our financial services business, we’re seeking a Risk &amp; Fraud Analyst to help protect that trust while enabling responsible scale. You’ll play a critical role in identifying and investigating risk and fraud patterns across our payments ecosystem, collaborating closely with customers and cross-functional teams, and shaping smarter, more efficient risk processes as we scale.</p> <p>As part of our Payments &amp; Financial Services group, you’ll help evolve our risk programs by turning insights from day-to-day investigations into meaningful improvements in controls, tooling, and customer experience.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do here:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Fraud Support: </strong>Responsible for actioning the day-to-day alerts and queues related to fraud prevention, investigations, and dispute processing.</li> <li><strong>Case Investigations: </strong>Monitor and analyze various types of information provided through different tools, reports and documentation to make strong decisions.</li> <li><strong>Onboarding Documents and Merchant Transaction Histories: </strong>Assess risk levels and make approval recommendations for onboarding and payment processing limits.</li> <li><strong>Stakeholder Engagement: </strong>Build trust with our customers and internal Boulevard teams through a great customer experience and excellent fraud education.</li> <li><strong>Raise the Bar: </strong>Give feedback on how our current risk programs can be improved, and assist with implementing those improvements.</li> <li><strong>Industry Knowledge: </strong>Stay informed of fraud trends and relevant regulations to assist in maintaining an exceptional risk program for Boulevard.</li> <li><strong>Systems: </strong>Assist in the development of fraud detection and risk management systems and tools, suggesting enhancements as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you'll need to thrive:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred</li> <li>3-7 years of experience in the payments industry, with a focus on underwriting, transaction monitoring and/or fraud, dispute, and risk management. High end of this range is required for Analyst II</li> <li>Experience with SQL, Tableau or Sigma is required</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Google, especially Excel/Sheets</li> <li>Familiarity with merchant processing platforms and applications</li> <li>Experience with the use of automation and/or AI tooling on the job is required</li> <li>Ability to read and understand credit card processing statements</li> <li>Knowledge of card brands (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) rules and regulations</li> <li>Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and research capabilities – you love to dig, understand, and get to the bottom of issues</li> <li>Able to research and make decisions on complex merchant-related issues then relay findings in a clear, concise way</li> </ul> <p><strong>How we'll take care of you:</strong></p> <p><em>Your starting total cash compensation for this role is between $90,000 - $130,000&nbsp;depending on your current skills, experience, training, and overall market demands.
