Your responsibilities will include: Development of test scenarios following design and requirement documents to ensure intended behavior is verified Write automated tests for a Windows based software application Interact with SW developers, Systems engineers, project management, and other Quality team members to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects in a detailed, efficient, and timely manner Maintain and report test results, and investigate test failures Participate in code reviews with peers Work in a highly regulated software environment Focus on product quality Join a fast-growing and talented team, as we invest in a best-in-class software product using best-in-class software practices. Testing medical device application requires rigor and attention to detail to meet industry and regulatory standards. It takes someone who can solve problems, is unwilling to give up, and is in tune with the highly regulated nature of medical device software. We're looking for a motivated and creative SW application test engineer with a focus on quality who has experience with requirements-based software test automation. Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 3 or more years of test automation experience (or Master's degree plus 1-2 years of experience) Desire to learn, explore and push team practices to modern standards Team player willing to collaborate with peers Effective communicator and writer Independent contributor who requires less or little supervision Preferred qualifications Experience with Python scripting language Previous medical device experience Previous experience working in an Agile work environment Requisition ID: 623377 Minimum Salary: $ 71500 Maximum Salary: $ 135800 The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
