Associate's or 2-year technical degree (or higher) in mechanical drafting or related field Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in mechanical design and using SolidWorks software Hands-on mechanical aptitude Strong understanding of GD&T Demonstrated ability to develop equipment/fixtures/tooling from concept to production Demonstrated cross functional teamwork in technically demanding environment Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to travel, domestic and international, up to 10% Prior experience as a technical lead on team projects Molding experience Prior experience in medical device industry or similar highly-regulated industry Highly motivated individual that can independently drive deliverables to completion through collaboration among team members Experience in New Product Development Demonstrated ability to develop and drive innovative solutions into processes and products Medical device design experience Experience with mechanical design Ability to schedule out timelines with specific milestones to achieve and demonstrated success
