About this role

Support new product development (NPD) from concept through design, prototyping, testing, and validation Contribute to electronic circuit design, schematic capture, and component selection Support sustaining engineering activities, including rootcause analysis, failure investigation, and product improvements Provide integration support, ensuring compatibility between electronic, mechanical, and software systems and performing gap analysis between BSC and new business unit's product life cycle. Collaborate crossfunctionally with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams Support design for manufacturability, testability, and reliability requirements Demonstrate broad knowledge of design controls and risk management Assist with product lifecycle management, including obsolescence management and design changes Generate and maintain technical documentation, including design files, test reports, and procedures Support verification and validation testing, regulatory compliance, and design reviews Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Computer engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3 years' electrical engineering industry experience, preferably within the Med Tech Sector, with hands on design controls experience or minimum 2 years' industry experience with Masters in relevant discipline Knowledge of international standards such as IEC 60601, IEC 61000, ISO 14708, or similar. Knowledge of electronic design including electronic simulation, schematic capture, and PCB layout. Lab skills and experience with prototyping, general test equipment setup for electronic designs. Experience with PCBA boards bring up and troubleshooting. Experience in Failure Analysis. Experience in designing to solve and mitigate EMC issues. Exposure to adherence principles and understanding (product specifications, etc.). Experience of design controls and risk management In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration and time management skills
