Challenging Internship at Bosch Japan! You will get the chance to work for a global player and be a part of a dynamic team where you can gather practical and on-the-job experience with a mix of day-to-day operations and projects. Your task(s) will include:
You will join a global player and a dynamic team, gaining hands-on experience across day-to-day operations and projects. In this role, you will coordinate the development of AI tools for marketing and communication, plan customer events and executive presentations.
As a Management Assistant Intern in the Business Strategy area at Bosch Japan, you will support the Vehicle Motion Division. Your responsibilities will include coordinate the implementation of new AI tools for marketing purposes together with a team of developers from start to finish, preparing briefings, agendas, minutes and follow-ups, as well as shared trackers; creating and refining PowerPoint presentations; and conducting data analysis to support decision-making.
1. Executive support (50%):
• Join the head of business strategy and marketing to selected meetings.
Prepare these meetings if applicable, take meeting minutes.
• Create polished presentations and meeting packs in PowerPoint; occasionally build full decks from scratch (storyline, structure, visuals); create simple trackers or dashboards in Excel/Power BI
2. Coordinate the development of new AI Tools for marketing together with a development team and the head of business strategy (50%)
• Draft the tool idea with the team
• Create and align an implementation plan
• Compile weekly summaries and reports
• Support proposals and updates
• Present and demonstrate the final result
• Required studies/skills:
1. Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field
(or equivalent experience)
2. Good PowerPoint and Excel skills; ability to create PowerPoint decks when needed and build clean reports/dashboards
3. Comfortable with data handling and light analysis and turning data into clear visuals
4. Ability to create visually convincing presentations, dashboards and reports
5. Strong written and verbal communication; professional discretion and confidentiality
6. Hands-on with office and collaboration tools (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace; scheduling tools)
7. Interest in automation/AI
8. Highly organized, proactive, and able to prioritize; anticipates needs and follows through
9. Technical background or curiosity appreciated but not mandatory
• Preferred language abilities:
1. Intermediate to Business Level in English
• Preferred skills:
1. Knowledge/interest in automotive technology
2. Be a communicative, proactive, self-driven and reliable team player!
3. Willing to work on ad-hoc tasks that are not mentioned in the job description (max. 10%)
Additionally, you should:
Be able to stay for a period of 6-12 months at our company
Be regularly enrolled at a university during the entire internship period
Be flexible, willing and motivated to live and work in a different culture
Target Internship Period:
We offer a very competitive monthly net allowance of 200,000 Yen on a full-time scheme. We will also provide you with all necessary documents and information for a successful Designated Activities visa application. Please note that the full visa process may take up to three months. Furthermore, applicants who intend to have an internship period for 12 months/already hold residence status in Japan will receive a monthly gross allowance.
Japanese Nationals:
Please note that Japanese nationals do not require a visa process. Depending on the needs of the receiving department, students fulfilling this condition may begin their internship within one month of being hired.
Exchange students
Please note that foreign nationals on a student visa with permission for part-time job (資格外活動許可) do not require a visa process. Students fulfilling these conditions will be eligible to work on a part-time scheme only. Depending on the needs of the receiving department, exchange students may begin their internship within one month of being hired.
****Non-Japanese Nationals (visa requirements):
Please note that applicants who are not Japanese nationals need to be eligible to obtain the Designated Activities Visa for an internship with Bosch Japan. Therefore, only students who fulfill the following conditions are eligible to apply:
A.) Enrolled student at a university at least 3 months before the internship and during the entire internship period.
B.) Doing the internship will require your university to sign a document confirming that the internship represents a mandatory or strongly recommended part of your university curriculum when applying for your visa.
Please be aware that we will not:
A.) Carry out country specific tax treaty procedures.
