Job Description

In our team of Global Process Owners (GPO), you will take on a global governance and advisory role for warehouse logistics processes at Bosch Home Comfort (HC). With responsibility for more than 300 warehouses worldwide, you drive harmonization, compliance and continuous improvement, particularly in the areas of dangerous goods, hazardous materials, and packaging for distribution logistics.

Your contribution to something big:

  • Global process ownership: Define, harmonize, and optimize global warehouse logistics processes, structures and tools with a focus on dangerous goods, hazardous materials, and packaging.
  • Governance & advisory role: Act as a global expert for plants  and distribution warehouses, ensuring compliance with central standards and regulations;
  • SAP EWM Sales Template: Actively contribute to the further development of the SAP EWM Sales template in close cooperation with central Bosch units and local stakeholders;
  • Process design & documentation: Define target processes together with stakeholders, contribute to their implementation and document them in Signavio and Docupedia;
  • S/4HANA Template: Compare global S/4HANA template with local process requirements and close gaps via creating or supporting business and IT requests (BR, ITR);
  • End-to-end collaboration: Work holistically along the entire process chain in close coordination with process chain managers, intralogistics GPOs, IT teams, HSE managers, and logistics service providers in plants and distribution warehouses.
  • Focus on Packaging (Distribution Logistics)
    • Lead optimization projects in outbound packaging, including consolidation initiatives;
    • Drive forward the rollout of the uniform packaging tool (PackMDM);
    • Coordinate and evaluate packaging-related activities and information flows between central and local stakeholders (e.g. PPWR or EUDR);
    • Ensure packaging governance by monitoring implementation and compliance with central packaging guidelines.
  • Focus on Dangerous Goods & Hazardous Materials
    • Ensure global compliance with applicable regulations for storage of hazardous materials and transport of dangerous goods;
    • Align international regulations in cooperation with external service providers and local stakeholders;
    • Act as global process owner for all methods, tools, and processes related to dangerous goods and hazardous materials in storage and transportation;
    • Ensure availability, quality, and application of training materials, training courses, and documentation, including dangerous goods registers and safety data sheets.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you: 

Education

  • Completed studies in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in handling dangerous goods/hazardous materials and packaging;
  • Experience in project management within warehouse operations and/or plant logistics;
  • Experience with SAP ERP and S/4HANA is an advantage.

Know-how

  • Solid understanding of global logistics processes and compliance requirements;
  • Strong knowledge of logistics processes in SAP WM/EWM;
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office.

Languages

  • Fluent English (spoken and written). German is a plus.

  • Strong conceptual thinking combined with consistent implementation.
